DogGone Traveller began with one well-traveled dog — Bean.
After accompanying her owner on countless trips, travelling with Bean revealed just how complex international pet travel can be — from shifting airline requirements to destination-specific import rules that change without warning.
What started as one pet parent’s determination to make sense of the process became the foundation for a service designed to help others avoid the same stress.
Today, DogGone Traveller combines firsthand experience with professional expertise to guide pet owners through every detail of travel compliance and logistics — ensuring every journey is safe, seamless, and stress-free.
Meet The Inspiration
Meet Bean — the adventurous little nomad that sparked the idea behind DogGone Traveller. Originally from the sunny beaches of La Paz, Mexico. Bean has travelled throughout North America, experiencing the cold of the north, the rain of the west and the long hot summers of the central part of the continent. Always looking for adventure this spunky little pup is now exploring the beauty of Europe. From the ancient ruins of Greece, to the stunning wine country of France and the warmth of Spain she lives everyday trying to enjoy all that life has to offer.
Meet The Founder
Having moved frequently for her career, Sarah, experienced first-hand the frustration of ever changing pet travel rules costing delays, loss of flights and the rebooking of accommodations. As a pet parent who knows her pet is part of the family and therefore leaving them behind is not an option she knew there had to be a better way. She knew that pet travel should not be this complicated and so set to work creating a way to help others navigate pet travel without the stress.
A seasoned professional with more than 30 years of experience as a leader in the hospitality industry, Sarah built a reputation for excellence in service, operations, and client care — skills that now shape every detail of DogGone Traveller’s approach. Inspired by her well-traveled dog, Bean, she recognized how overwhelming pet travel can be and set out to bring the same level of professionalism and care to pets and their people — turning complex logistics into confident journeys.
